I thought the original version would be fragrance free or light smelling but it's not. It smells like bananas and the scent is overpowering for the first hour or so. I'll never buy this scent again. I'm a guy and noticed all my sisters using this lotion so I decided to give it a try since I tend to dry my hands and arms out with harsh soaps and detergents as a mechanic and of all the lotions I have used this is hands down the best I have ever used by a long shot.

It absorbs fast and makes my skin feel like actual skin. My issue is with the scent, it's not a bad scent, kinda girly smelling tbh but it's the fact that the scent is SO STRONG, it's like I just sprayed sprays of a cologne on and it honestly gets kinda nauseating.

I just gave the bottle away and bought a different scent from hempz and it was still girly but was significantly more muted. To bad they don't just make an unscented version of the original, the market for men would probably be a lot higher. The original hasn't disappointment. It doesn't leave my skin feeling greasy at all and it makes me skin smooth and soft. I have an issue with excessively washing my hands and this has been great to have on hand to keep them from drying out.

I HATE lotion that leaves my skin, especially hands, feeling greasy and this lotion doesn't do that at all. I have super sensitive skin and this hasn't caused me any issues and actually seems to help when I have a flare up. I love how soft my skin is after using it. Its my go to moisturizer my coworkers touch my arm by accident was blown away by how soft and silky my skin is.

I recommended her this moisturizer. We keep a large original scent bottle of this in the house at all times because it is our normal everyday lotion.
